Hello, I’m Niki!

I earned my Bachelors in Fine Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and have spent the past 20 years building a multifaceted creative life working with Luxury Wedding Planners, Directing a Montessori school for a number years (a whole story in itself), raising two wonderful kids, crafting cocktails as a Bartender (so fun), and serving a wide range of clients through Paper Tangent.

I’m settled among the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, have now returned to working full-time as an artist, and am excited for a recent behind-the-scenes refresh of Paper Tangent, with some (very) exciting projects launching in 2026 focusing on surface design and pre-designed semi-custom wedding suites.

I’m passionate about fine art, art history, interior design, food/gardening, heirlooms, & the natural world, and I love incorporating those elements into meaningful art & design that people truly cherish. I look forward to working with you on your next project!
